The spacers are flat - but due to the shape of the shock they don't lie flat/flush.
I added 5 spacers (one 22mm aluminum plus four red 3.56mm) on the driver's side; 3 (one 22mm + two 3.56 mm) spacers on the passenger side. FYI I lost an entire inch of ride height overnight.
Actually, the spacers I ordered did not even fit over my original shocks, so I would have had to send them back if I didn't replace the shocks. The seller advertised that he had used them on his Aeros so it must be a different size shock.
I have posted photos of the spacers on the shocks - if you search "picasaweb mkeller720" you'll see my album.
My next step is to get the camber & toe measured and make adjustments from there. Stay tuned for an update.
