OK, this feels weird posting on the 9-5 board as a long time 900/9000 owner. But I've been (passively) looking for a long time for a 9-5 aero wagon to replace my wife's 98 9kCSE. It has to be manual transmission which makes the search that much harder. Anyway, a relatively low mileage (65,000) 2002 is up for sale at a dealer about 250 miles away.

I know the sludge issue still affects the 2002 cars. The carfax that the dealer had on the website showed regular servicing through 2006 (about 35k miles) but nothing after that. I don't know if the owner stopped servicing it or just changed to a different shop that didn't report these things to Carfax. The DIC and SID display have both been changed. No sign of the PCV #6 update (hey I'm learning the 9-5 terminology!).

Any input would be appreciated - also, they are asking $9k for it, which seems a little high to me (although in line with NADA), but i'm not too familiar with 9-5 prices so what would be a reasonable price for this car?
