Fixing the symtom, not the problem... Pistons

A month or so ago I purchased a 2002 9-5 aero at a fair discount considering it had 2 cracked pistons.
I had driven it before the engine failed and noticed it had a fuel-cut like occurance (which i believe to be detonation) when the boost guage got 1/2 way into the red. I believe this to be the cause of the car needing an engine.
I then replaced the pistons, with a fresh headgasket and new rod bearings (the old ones showed very little wear which leads me to believe the lubrication system is in good shape)
I have been driving the car for 200 miles or so with no problems (other than the pre-existing condition that I noted in the beginning of the post)
Believing that condition is what caused the engine to fail in the first place, I tried to track it down, before it claimed another engine.
I replaced the MAF (with a used unit), The DIC, The plugs, and ran 91 Octane fuel. None of these items corrected the problem, as the problem continued to occur
And as of last night I noticed a slight vibration. I popped the hood to check for vaccum leaks, and when pulling the dipstick, i noticed it was pressurized. Fun!
So i guess im going to put another set of pistons in it, and still not know what the problem is?
