I did mine on my 2001 95 Aero 5 years ago and it is still going strong. If you are not a mechanic, it is easy enough to get anyone who is a bit handy with tools to be successful.
I remember the cost is below $200.....maybe $180.
This is an all too common problem that has an easy fix. The dealers usually only will exchange the whole unit including hydraulics.
Have BBA do it is better than a junkyard part. Probably cheaper and they stand behind it and of course test it out.
