Our 2004 Aero wagon began making scraping front brake noises, but the wear indicator on each side was at lease 1/8" from touching. The inner pads had worn significantly more. The slide pins were free and no unusual rust/crud on the guide slots. Is this typical of 9-5? Why don't they put the wear indicator on the inside pad since it is more likely to wear more quickly, due to non-floating friction or whatever?
