Code 08 usually menas the driver's side damper arm for the A/C system is broken. Originally a $1,000 plus repair at teh Dealer, it can now usually be repaired D-I-Y with a $100 +/- kit. http://www.thesaabsite.com was the first to sell these kits, now they are available at http://www.eEuroparts.com and other SAAB replacement part on-line retailers. If the 2002 model uses the 5-speed automatics then the #3309 is the correct fluid. These transmissions utilize slidng clutches and the correct fluid is critical. I would not substitute RedLine or Amsoil for the 330- fluid. If the 2002 still used the older 4-speed auto box then you should have installed a Dexron-VI compatible fluid.
