There is a metal plate riveted to the driver's side front fender under the hood. You need the Front Strut Code Number from this plate, either a 4, 5, 8, or 9 for a 2003 5-door. The front strut number is the fifth code from the left (or second from right) when reading the six codes on the plate.
Cars with codes 4 or 5 use one suspension kit, cars with codes 8 or 9 use another.
