Removed chewing gum from leather seat

My wife sat on some chewing gum and then when she got in the passenger side she got the gum on the leather seat. Luckily it was a solid panel and not the perforated part of the seat that is ventilated. I found advice online that scotch tape would remove it, and believe it or not it worked! I just tore off a 3-5 inch piece of tape and dabbed at the gum and little by little it came right off. No peanut butter, goo gone, or anything like that so there's no residue or mess. It took about 10 minutes. Hope this helps someone else out later! -JerryC
