A Buick/Rover V8 9-series would be amazing, especially with the Megasquirt FI, but out of the price range. Sad part is an '81 245 I let go ended up a Ford 5.0 swap that never got completed...waste of a good drivetrain and a PERFECT rust free body.
DW is "Dear Wife" which I thought was relatively common.
A newer E-Series with the diesel is well out of my price range because few who bought them, aren't selling them. The regular E-series is a gas hog, uninspiring to drive (assume that is fixable) but extremely utilitarian...aka it holds a lot of stuff due to efficient packaging.
I might have to try the XL dog crate in a test drive of a 9-5. They are running $7,500-$13,000 in this area for pre-2007's...a few Arc's asking $20K but unlikely to get it.
If Mazda made a Mazdaspeed Mazda5, I would have a Japanese car to consider but such is not my luck.
