is my 1999 LPT4?
as this new jug says NOT for use with DEX-COOL cars.
so bottom line: for my 1999 LPT4 is this new yellow stuff OK to use? or should I try to get the blue? $30 wasted and another 2 weeks wait is better than risking my cooling system parts like radiator.
eEuro still shows the Saab blue #0268177 on the site but it is still over in the -1998 cars listings as it always was. so maybe they are still making it or there is a stock remaning. price is about same as the new GM black jug of yellow.
and my blue mixed with distilled water always seemed to stay mostly blue in color.
I did get a WP replaced at a local indie a few years back and they replaced with something orange-ish. I flushed and replaced with blue next time I had my 30k coolant replacement DIY. seems I am having WP pipe leak issues about that often now anyway!
