I stopped by 5 Star Alignment in Ashland, Ohio, where the shop owner put my 2000 with Eibachs within specifications on rear camber/toe. He said if I was hauling more than myself it was just borderline. Said if I wanted to come back in he could retrofit a adjustable camber bushing(Ford) that would put me back in spec.
He pulled off the shelf a white box with number 44-131 which is for late 80's, early 90's Taurus and was the first generation including SHO. Here is what the part looks like and would require modification to install:

With his alignment and frugal driving style I'm seeing consistently just under 40 mpg straight highway. So I have no real reason to back for the tweak unless I'm seeing inside tire wear or I do poly on leading link.
I kept 116K mile OE bushings which doesn't help owners with sagging suspensions but the adjustable bushing should give some relief to tire cupping experienced by some.
