found the posts making to the hose routed from the top of the tranny case to the battery/master cylinder area, and some mistakenly being attached to the dummy outlet. Pulled if off the outlet and voila, 4 qts drained into the fill opening like a dose of salt through a widow woman. At first thought it looks like Murphy's law is in effect when you find something like this preventing a good re-fill. But when you think about it, unless there is another location to park the open end of the vent tube I don't know about, my gut feeling is it was by design to park it to the dummy outlet to prevent dust & debris getting into the transmission, but not documented properly. Please correct me if this is not what was intended. Anyway, I'm now another happy camper Saaber.
