I put 4 Koni Yellows + new rear wagon springs on our 04 Arc sedan... the ride was just starting to go squirrely in the back (the fronts were probably fine but I wanted consistency so I did all 4) and the rear was sagging to much (especially under load)... Springs aren't necessary, but I got them because I wanted stiffer to better accomodate the weight we put in the back... new is especially not necessary... I didn't do the bushings because that was too hard a diy for myself + my indy didn't think it was worth doing, but others here advise it (+upgrading to poly) + I think their advice is probably good. You'll need an alignment after any of that... I haven't done the sway bar upgrade yet...
I set the konis on + (180 degrees stiffer than as shipped, but they go up to +++ iirc)... the stiffer springs + konis = buttery smooth ride... we have terrible roads here... you feel the bumps, but only subtly... car feels great!
James...
