Op-com codes questions

I just obtained the Op-com diagnostic interface (eBay, $18) and successfully read the codes that were available for my '02 Aero.
1. TWICE B1785 (8) <UNKNOWN DTC> - Not Present
I have been getting the "service theft alarm" notice upon start-up on an intermittent basis and I replaced the batteries 4 months ago. I was hoping to get a better indication of where the fault really was. Apparently, this code indicates that the battery is low. I don't think that is really the case. Any ideas? I used the Op-com to clear the code and I have not received the message after 3 re-starts.
2. ACC B2496 (0) <UNKNOWN DTC> - Not Present
Apparently this refers to the LH stepping motor/airmixing flap. I did have some audible binding that occurred during the hottest days this past summer, but that sound does not occur when it is cooler. Do these codes disappear on their own or do they remain in memory until they are replaced and/or erased? I don't seem to have any heating/cooling issues and re-calibrating the ACC reveals no codes. Again, I erased the code and I will check in a few weeks to see what happens.
3. SID B1600 - (C) Not Present
I did remove the SID to have it repaired a year ago. I drove the car for a week while I waited for the repaired unit. Did this code likely originate a year ago?
