Nothing to worry about. Although many on this board say they have little or no usage, many do. My '02 Aero uses about 1 qt. per 1,700 - 1,800 miles when I drive it fast over extended distances. But the usage has never changed over the 90K I've owned the car and power and gas mileage are great. I've also dropped the pan and looked over the engine interior an all is well, and I've done analysis on the used oil several times via Blackstone Labs and the reports have all been good.
I WOULD worry about adding anything to the oil, though. I'm not an automotive or petroleum engineer but I've read extensively on oils, and there appears to be a genuine danger in tampering with the delicate balance of the additive package in whatever oil you are using. Most likely, any oil additive that you are likely to buy will (at best!) probably do little more than increase the oil viscosity, and while that may appeal to our common sense, there are some serious consequences to running oil thicker than what the engine was designed for. Remember, the majority of the wear on your engine over the life of the car will occur when the engine is cold, and higher viscosity oil will be less effective during that critical period. In some cases, much less.
