Last time it happened I took it to autozone, close to my work to have them pull the code to see if it was something easy like a O2 sensor, since the car seems to drive fine. They cleared the code and I took it to the dealer after with the CEL cleared. like a week later. This time, I got the CEL and I left it on there, but cleared it this morning. I wanted to drive it pretty hard to see if I could duplicate this issue, and I really wrang it out this morning. had acceleration, hard deacceleration. fast driving, upwards of 120mph, cornering. etc, nothing until I was close to work on a 25mph road, had somebody pull in front of me out of a side street so had to hit my brakes, then when I went to accelerate, Got the CEL to flash for a few seconds but it didn't stay on. Car still seemed to run fine, I didn't notice any hesitation, or any other symptom of massive missfires.. I will see if I can duplicate it again tonight the same way after work, quick decel into a quick acceleration. before i was decelerating, but not accellerating quickly (IE coming up to a light, and I had to sit at the light).
