I have a dumb question and it's not really a support question for Saab as I've decided to retire my Saab after a long fought battle in trying to keep it alive.
I'm about to buy a car here in NJ and I will be paying cash for it? If I'm paying cash, should I be paying tax. I don't ask because I think I shouldn't. I ask because I wonder if the seller, in accepting cash, will report it or just pocket it, as just a way to further pad the price.
Another thing. What would you pay for the warranty? Do you base it on just what you can afford or your general trust, or lack thereof, in shopping for a car. I'm not buying a brand new car that comes with a warranty from a new car dealer. I'm buying a car from a used car dealer, a lot of which nowadays, don't offer a warranty unless you pay for it. If I buy a warranty, I'm going to totally read it though. I don't want some crap that says it'll cover the window spritzers only. There's so much crap out there. . .
