A simple update has turned into a horror story. My car has been laid up for a month after trying to get a reflash of the system to fix a radio issue. Something must have gone wrong as computer threw a bunch of codes after (but the radio RDS works now...yay). After consultation with tech support in Sweden (SCNA is gone) they cleared all but some with the air bag system which indicated a module was bad. A known good module from another car was fitted to test and it supposedly worked. A new module was ordered now the computer can't see the new module now we are back to Sweden again. Today marks week 4. Dealer has been helpful and I have a loaner but it seems like they are running into a dead end. I've conversed with 6 others who had the same reflash with no problems, it seems to be a lack of understanding the new interface on the 9-5 vs. the tech II on older cars.

I'd like to find someone stateside my dealer could at least call and talk to. I know that's their job but it seems I might have to take some matters into my own hands to help. The dealer is a long time Saab dealer so I'm a bit surprised but not much else I can do at this point.
