Iirc, you have a 2004 (like me)... that makes it harder, but check anyway. I looked last summer and Ilco makes blank keys (with and without electronics) for the 9-5 up to 2003 (iirc - check the key FAQ for the exact changeover date). Any good automotive locksmith can cut for you + your saab indy can program. They didn't have key blanks for the fat shafts. There was one that looked close (non-electronic) but we didn't get it. Talk to a good automotive locksmith. Ours said that there is sometimes a lag time of 5 or 6 years until generic companies are allowed to make key blanks (for new designs), so that may have lapsed by now, especially with saab bankrupt. The Ilco blanks are somewhat significantly cheaper than Saab blanks at least vs from a dealer here.
let us all know what you find! (I would still love to get a non-electronic blank cut for my 2004)
