You can safely put a quart of just about anything into the mix; one of the design criteria for motor oil is some compatibility. Heck, the OG 9-5 oil cooler contains about a quart that stays in there through the oil change (one reason why the new oil turns dark immediately. I would suggest another quart of Mobil 1 for this change, and mostly Mobil 1 for the next one.
More to the point is your choice of oil. I know, the dealer used 5W30 synthetic blend for the "Saab paid" oil changes, but that simply didn't match the spec in the owners' manual. The 9-5 engine oil runs hot (by design), and an XW40 oil at 9-5 temperatures is just like an XW30 oil in a Classic 900. Once you get through your inventory, move up to something a little thicker. I use Mobil 1 10W40 "high mileage", but then I winter in Florida, so my car never sees cold temperatures. There are plenty of 5W40 synthetic oils for those whose cars are exposed to freezing.
