I sold my 2000 lpt and bought a 2008 Aero in February Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 10 Apr 2012 10:02:46 In Reply to: bad time to buy a 9-5?, inca99 [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 10 Apr 2012 08:53:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I figure the OG9-5 was in production from 1998 thru 2009 and almost everything other than body panels can be obtained from a variety of sources. With a twelve year producitn run even body panels should be available used.
The parts situation in the US is problematic right now, (particularly for Repair Shops which need to be able to call in a daily order for parts and receive them within a couple hours) but not hopeless for D-I-Y'ers who are able to anticipate non-emergency repairs (or can live with a minor problem until parts arrive from Europe).
