were you using FSD's or yellows (I think officially called "sport")?
The reason I ask is when I compared the oem shock I took out to the new koni yellows I put in on the back, the oem perch was the same as the *lower* perch on the konis. I wish I had taken a picture. I know you've mentioned this a number of times (that the lower perch is lower than stock), so I wonder if you are using FSD's and they are different?
As confirmation, I just went outside and measured the distance from the top of the perch (ie where the spring rests) to the center of the lower bolt hole on both the Koni yellows and OEM shocks. OEM = 3 5/16". Koni, lower perch = 3 6/16". Measurement uncertainty (tape measure) = +/-1/16", so within measurement uncertainty they are the same!
It is quite possible an older version for a different year or FSD would make a difference. This was for a 2004 + the Konis were ordered from Taliaferro, so they should be the right part.
