I think I have an ignition switch issue. 2001 with manual transmission. I have in the past noticed that sometimes the ignition barrel would not pop back up when turning the key off. Recently I have been hearing a noise that lasts a second once the car starts. After searching I think it is the starter staying engaged still like turning the key to start when the car is already running. What kind of lub did you use and where did you apply it. I am going to remove the barrel this weekend.
