I had PS2s on my '04 Volvo V70R and I loved them. I ran that car at Sebring a few times on those tires and I was amazed at how good they were on the track in the 235/45/17 size, while still being very comfortable on the road. They were also a fantastic rain tire for the first 75% of their tread depth.
I've been looking at the Pilot SS for my '07 9-5 Aero SC as I also run winter tires (16" Dunlop Winter Sport 3ds). When I got the winter tires I went with Borbet LV5 anthracite wheels as well, I've become pretty fond of the anthracite look (my stock wheels are 60th anniversary) and was considering going to an 18x8 wheel with a 235/40/18 - but from what I've read here and elsewhere 18s are probably not the way to go on a 9-5.
I think my best scenario is going to be Pilot Super Sports, and eventual Koni FSDs.
