From my research it seems that the only two functions that are programmed into SID are the tire size and the engine type.
I can cross check the speed on the speedo or obd2 port to a GPS - so this should take care of the tire size.
How do I check that the engine type is programmed correctly? What would happen if it is not.
My BBA-reman repaired SID failed after ~1.5 years and they shipping me another unit under warranty.
