Dear Friends,
I posted a couple of days ago about after I replaced the
Pcv plastic valve and then a couple of days later finding a major oil leak.
The leak seems like it is coming from the crank shadt seal. My mechanic
is cleaning the area around the leak to see where it is
coming from. If it is the crankshaft seal, what should I expect regarding repair
costs.
How could this happen on a car with only 57k miles on the odometer?
Can I replace the seal myself? What is involved? If the crankshaft is also damaged should
then what?
Thanks in advance. Seb
