You can press in the center with pretty much anything, the end of a wire coat hanger works well. You'll be disappointed if you spend too much time looking for a 9-5 screwdriver when you see the little plastic tip on it. It works for the grommets, but so does just about anything else.
I second the CarQuest recommendation, I have been getting more and more parts there recently and got a genuine direct ignition cassette there for a price I couldn't believe. -JerryC
