Repairs and preventative maintenance take precedence over performance modifications. I still haven't done my TD04 swap, been focusing on replacing bushings and suspension components.
Turbo swap should happen next month when I drop the pan (never been done- 167K miles) and roll in the chain- I'm at the tensioner limit, but there's no noise. I'm debating whether I want to swap the mesh screen on the pickup tube for a more open mesh, or just put some cleaner in the engine and drop the pan again.
I've got a stock Aero ECU from an '05 to swap in, just need to figure out how to use the Tech2 so it will work.
I thought you had your OEM flywheel machined? I'm thinking of machining the OEM flywheel when I put in an Aero clutch next year, hopefully along with the GS downpipe and a catback exhaust.
Have you had that thing dynoed yet? How's your gas mileage been?
