I've run AmsOil since about 1980 in a variety of cars some to over 300k without overhauls, and one for nearly 30 years. I run the AmsOil Euro 5W40 in the Saab with no fear of sludge formation. Actually any full synthetic that meets ACEA A3/B3 or A3/C3 is best. There are several out there: AmsOil (Product Codes AFL or EFM), Castrol Synthetic (Euro Formula), LubroMoly, Total, and Motul to name a few. None are cheap but if you want to drive your car a LONG time they are worth it. Use only synthetic oils in Saabs.
