Exclusively in heavy snow country? Drive like it is summer time but you know the pavement is colder? Mix of snowy and dry roads, usually at 60 to 70MPH if the weather is good.
I have used a variety of snow tires with different speed ratings. If your driving needs are option #1 above, go with the Q rated tires realizing they will behave strangely on clear roads at highway speeds. If option #2 above is your driving needs, go with the H rated realizing you will be sacrificing pure ice and heavy snow capability.
My driving style in winter is option #3 and I have found the T-rated tires to provide me with the best compromise.
