2003 Aero (screenname is from when I bought my first 9-5, an Arc in 2008)

There are plenty of posts saying the DIC is definitely the culprit with both p1312 and 1334 codes. I had p1312 at startup only yesterday on the way home form work (the morning was spent driving back abd forth from my indy to the body shop and back to source a side view mirror from my hit and run accident Monday night...). I cleared it to see if it reappeared on the way home and it did not. Did not reappear this morning either. I thought I smelled exhaust or a burning smell on my way home last night, even with recirc set to ON. Didn't smell anything odd this morning. Just did water pump a week ago, so coolant level is fine.

Plugs are I am guessing, under 20k old as they were supposedly just done when I bought the car and I have less than 20k on the clock. 140k total now. I just bought a spare DIC so I will keep it in the car with me now.
