Had the same problem with the wood one on my 2000 9-3 several years ago, they become disbonded at the edges and curl up and crack. Factory must use some bad glue. I was able to find another from a boneyard for 90 bucks for the 9-3, but cannot find anything for the 9-5. Center console panel was mangled by the dealer years ago so wood or even the ugly silver spray painted units are options at this point. Anyone know where to find these and how to remove or install? The 9-3 r and r was a bit of a pain.
