Congrats on your "new" BBS wheels! I faced the same problem when the BBS 2-pc wheels that came with my Aero finally lost all of their plastic overcoat and a lot of the paint began flaking off. I couldn't find ANYONE in the powder-coating business around these parts who had the foggiest idea of how to refinish my wheels.

Given the weoight of 4 of those things, I finally decided not to get entangled in the job (i.e., shipping them off to someone who DID know what he was doing...), and let my indy sell them to a buddy of his, etc etc etc. I eventually got Saab EVO's for my Aero, which I like very much.

The BBS wheel plastic overcoat begins to degrade after a few years, and, BBS says once disassembled, you can't re-use the 21 bolts-per wheel, blah blah blah. Oh well, you know... can we see a photo?
