Anyone interested in a group buy of MAD power springs for the rear of a 9-5, email me. I plan to order somewhat soon as I need the parts quickly. Ideally, I'd have a sense of how many are interested by late this week so I can get a price from MAD and maybe a ship date of early next week. The savings on multiples can be substantial. Excluding duties and domestic shipping, the cost will be about $250 or less per pair.

I've been testing a pair on one 9-5 and plan to get another set for another 9-5. These are not Aero ride height. Rear camber will be closer to neutral unloaded. Per MAD, these springs will raise the car +/- 13mm unladen (compared to the original car) and will raise the car 30-33mm fully laden. Without measuring, that seems about right.

Please let me know which part number (of the two) you are interested in getting. I have no idea what changed after late 2005. For power springs, the catalog lists (all exclude load leveling):
9-5 Sedan
HV-159218 | 09-1997 through 10-2005
9-5 Wagon
HV-159218 | 09-1997 through 09-2005
HV-159228 | 10-2005 on

MAD also offers replacement springs that I assume are comparable to OEM. The three year warranty doesn’t seem as good as the lifetime on the power springs, but maybe that’s typical for replacement springs. Part numbers from http://www.mad-tooling.com/en/suspension-systems/products/coil-over-kits/

Aero
Front Spring: RS-151782
Rear Spring: RS-151783 (wagon only, but may fit sedan too)

Non-Aero
Front Spring: RS-151090 (2.3 only)
Rear Spring: RS-151601

Load Leveling Spring (for Nivomat system)
Rear Spring: RS-151092

Please double check these replacement spring part numbers if there's something you're interested in.
