Hi guys, Thanks so much for the help solving other problems on my 2000 9-5 lpt. Recently my wife parked the car after a long drive. 10 minutes later, a loud boom and steam. The upper radiator hose split lengthwise. I replaced both the upper and lower hoses as a precaution. Now I have noticed that the left cooling fan does not come on.(I do not know for sure whether it was working before the big boom event) The right fan does come on when A/C is selected. However, with the a/c off and at idle in the garage, the temperature gauge is at 9 o'clock but no fan(s) turn on. I tested both fans by connecting each one directly to the battery and they are working normally. All fuses associated with DICE are good. I swapped the three relays used for the cooling fans with three other relays from other circuits in the engine fuse box. None of this has caused the left fan to turn. The engine temperature gauge reads normal at the 9 o'clock position. While driving in town the A/C works great at 30 mph but seems to struggle a bit at stop lights. All this tells me the A/C fan is trying to do all the work. So how do I get that pesky left fan to help out?
