Having some issues with my girlfriends Saab. Had been running fine up until today, no warning signs of anything wrong at all. Started it up and seemed okay, but after idling in the driveway it began to smell sulfur or egg like. Decided to proceed with caution around the block to see if maybe the cat was just gunked up a bit, but problems persist. Has rough idle, strong vibration when put in gear with brakes applied. CEL flashes and stays on, showing codes P0300, and P1300. After searching I have read that common problems are DIC, or possibly a intake hose or manifold hose popping off. Looking for some insight as where to start, maybe how to test DIC's, what else to look for, etc. Car had been in the shop last year for a throttle body issue where it wouldnt start at all. Replaced CPS at that time trying to troubleshoot. Replaced forward bank valve cover gasket after noticing oil pooling in plug holes, cleaned it up and put new NGK's in. Going to take a look tomorrow and see if I can find anything funky, as well as change the oil.
Thanks in advanced for any help or insight, and I apologize for the novel, just trying to be detailed in what I have done or noticed.
