Make sure you know the battery condition. Test it with an electronic tester that with check the cold cranking amps. I have a Harbor Freight one that costs about $70 and it is awesome. If you should have 850 CCA and the tester tells you that you have 300.....that could be your problem.
I just put a new battery in my 2001 95 Aero and I had been watching the battery and I knew it was near its end of life. that morning when it started slowly I know it was time to take it to the auto parts store. When I did they gave me 50% credit because the battery was halfway through the warranty period.
Nice not to be stranded and get a good deal on the battery!
By the way I am servicing 6 cars so I can spread the cost of the tester.
