BTW I did the split collar fix after seeing it on this site on my wagon which was experiencing nasty tire wear due to rear sag. About 10,000 miles now- no abnormal tire wear and the ride height is restored.
I haven't experienced any problem with the front suspension beyond the usual torsion bar tie clunk which is another easy, cheap fix if the mounting nuts are not completely frozen (pia that was on one nut). But I also replaced the front struts as a whole when they went (springs included).
