Theres a front and rear axle sensor, headlights change angle based on the percentage/angle of each. Common for the front sensor to corrode at the harness connection. Scan with a Tech2 and look for fault codes:
B3410 Front Load Angle Sensor Open Circuit Short to B+
B3420 Rear Load Angle Sensor Open Circuit Short to B+
B2575 Xenon Lamp System Malfunction
If so, replace:
5287024 x2 harness $42.87
12783353 x1 front level sensor $88.05
12783354 x1 rear level sensor $88.78
Just made these repairs to a client's '07 9-5 Aero SC.
Yes, once a sensor has been replaced a calibration with the T2 is needed.
