I have the dual BSR exhaust on the 2004 Aero and it's just OK. When the factory exhaust and muffler rusted out I went looking around for SS exhaust systems and this was the only one that was in stock. It's only half SS and Steel and I see some rust already.
4 years on right now.
Stick with single exhaust.
Look under the car and you'll see a fuel tank on the other side of current exhaust pipe. I would keep things as they are before the SAAB explodes!
When I installed the BSR dual exhaust system ( and made cut outs in the bumper ) I looked in the Y split of the exhaust pipe and saw that there was only a very small opening to the other muffler. Full opening on the inside of drivers side pipe and only half-an opening on the passenger side. Maybe it was done like that to keep it just cool enough near the fuel tank.
System sounds good but I advise to keep the current exhaust system setup for safety and weight reduction ( second muffler is indeed heavy ).
Cheers!
