Judging from the drops of orange coolant in the snow under the passenger side of our car and the repeated (once every 3 days) "coolant low" messages, I think I'm going to need to add a water pump to my Christmas list... do the o rings just drip like this for a long time, or does it eventually blow and spew coolant? is the pump a pretty easy change out? I gather I should do serp belt/pullies at the same time (which I have - unknown miles on the current set, used car, no history, but look ok, serviced prior by a top SAAB indy) and also proactively replace the coolant bypass valve with makay hoses (which I also have)... Should I add some warm (ie not waay below freezing) DIY weather to my Santa list also or just take it to my indy?
