I don't know if Saab has timed module shutdowns but many new cars (come to think of it 9-5/9-3 must have something like that because the some stereo functions temporarily work with the key out). When you shut some cars off and remove the key the car powers down over a period of time. I have a Ford that drained its battery over about a 24 hour period and the dealer traced it to a small constant current draw in the sound system which tricked the electrical module controlling those circuits from shutting down thereby draining the battery if I didn't use the car for a day or two. Not sure if this applies to Saabs. Check for fuse box voltage in the morning before starting.
