ha... yeah, so we are at about 103k on our 9-5. Our water pump just got replaced about a week and a half ago (had to take it to my indy - waaay too cold to work outdoors right now!). I had him do a bunch of other preventative stuff also. Anyway, the first thing is coolant level will go low and you get the message on the SID. Then you might start to notice the drips and the message happens every 3 days... then you fill it up at night, drive the car a mile the next morning, get the message, top it off, drive it to the indy and it's dropped like an inch in the 5 mile drive... at that point you realize you have obtained the maximum lifespan out of the water pump! Well, more accurately, out of the o-ring... I'm sure the pump is fine, and could go much further, but for all the work, it's better to just put a new pump in there... labour is way more than the cost of a new pump.
iirc, you are way down south, and don't have to deal with -30 this time of year, so that will hopefully make the o-ring last longer and certainly will make it more fun to DIY!
