vvack describes a complete change like turbocon86 does on the c900... that's a good approach if one is careful and takes less time than driving to and from a shop, but I'm too lazy. I just drain and refill the ATF when I change the motor oil. Takes hardly any extra time. It's a dilution process, but if done regularly, it keeps it as clean as getting it perfect every once in a while. Just don't mix up the fluids. ha!
