What exactly is an Arc?

I mean, where would an Arc suspension fall between a Linear and an Aero? Reason I ask... My 03 Linear needs struts pretty bad front and back, and a 2002 9-5 Arc turned up at the local boneyard with only 62k miles on it... and because I'm on a budget, $110 for all 4 is very appealing as a stop gap until I can afford a Koni set. The 03 Arc is a V6, and my 02 is a 2.3L....
Also, are the arc seats any different than linear? I thought I read they were firmer.
