What state is that - let me guess PA ? I lived there once and had to sign a waiver to put H rated tires on my SHO.
I run H rated Michelins Primacy MXV4 on my 2004 Arc and also had them on my 1999 9-5 - got a killer deal 3 yrs back from discount tire $372 inc mounting and balance.
I don't necessarily agree with the others posters advice - but it depends on what you want from a tire and what conditions you drive in , a lot of performance tires wear quickly - because of their softer compound and less tread. That leads a good many to run them down to lower tread levels before
replacing. I think 4/32 is the recommend depth for driving in wet conditions, a lot of the higher performance tires can get to that level with not a whole lot of miles and in fact the tire becomes no more safe - likely less safe when the tread is worn down in wet conditions than a less performance orientated tire . I'll take greater tread depth and longer wear over a fast wearing performance tire and replace the tires when tread gets to that 4/32 mark.
