Well this is my wife's car and i do not drive it much, but i used it this weekend to drive 700 miles, i noticed that when i accelerate i can do so smoothly up to about 2800 rpm, if i push the throttle aggressively, the boost becomes erratic, and it finally stops boosting and the check engine light starts flashing (i think this is limp mode) when i ease up on the throttle everything is fine and the car runs fine, in addition when i hit a long hill (up) or grade, the rev's run really low, and the turbo starts fluttering and then not boosting until the car down shifts,and then it goes above 28oo rpm and displays the same symptoms. any idea's what this is, recently i have replaced the dic with a brand new sem, all new plugs, synthetic oil change and new tires, car has 110K miles, and is otherwise great, made the trip no problem, but i would like to deal with this boost issue. I 'm thinking the throttle body but its expensive and i don't want to continue to throw parts at it, without at least asking
