2003 Linear s/w,95k miles, ABS light show started happening daily about a month agovunder moderate braking. I checked wheel sensors, no problems, and was getting ready to pull out the control module when I started having shift lock solenoid stuttering when the brake pedal was pressed. After a bit of research here, I decided to pull the brake pedal switch and clean it with some electrical contact cleaner. Worked like a charm and no ABS/TCS warnings for 3 days. Truth be told, I did buy a new switch from a local parts place, but it was the OTHER switch for the cruise. That's when I decided to take out the brake light switch and marinate it in contact cleaner. My old cruise control brake switch broke during removal-not much in there but a plunger, spring and copper contacts.
