I wouldn't even think about doing this without decent quality new strut mounts. Mine are already failing at 115k.
The KYB's worry me, never used them but lots of bad reports, at least on the OG 9-3 boards. Wait for some good parts, hope we can still get them.
That is why I plan to dump my 2004 9-5 Aero in the spring. Shocks, struts, springs, subframe bushings, control arms, tie rod ends, sway bar bushes, etc., etc. WAY too much $$$$ to restore my 04 Aero to any kind of "pleasant to drive" state. It just goes BANG, SLAM, BANG, CREAK, SQUEEK down even an average road. Certain parts are difficult to find anymore, junkyard quality is getting worse and more scarce as time goes by.
If I want a rough ride, I can drive my 18 year old Ford truck, which does not entertain me with a Christmas Tree of error lights every few weeks, misfires, limp home modes, failing DICs, shark finning windows, SID and ACC units crapping out, failing ABS modules, throttle bodies that constantly crap out and finicky fuel pumps. Saab owner since 1984, but SO done after 7 Saabs, 6 of them I actually liked.
The best part of Saab ownership are all the fine folks here at Saabnet, sadly, there are fewer of them here every day.
