now and no one has ever been able to figure it out, dash has been ripped apart, wire and connectors retermed, wires on fire wall and some where under the seat have been reterminated, 2 throttle bodies (I SOMETIMES GET LIMP HOME MODE WITH THIS). A wiring harness was also replaced under CPO. Still happens every few weeks or so when temps are above 70F, which is 9-10 months out of the year here. Never does it when it is winter and always happens just after start up. Restart makes it go away 95% of the time, and sometimes it goes into limp home mode, where I have to get a ride or tow.
Since the car was a couple of years old (30,000 k) we have been dealing with a car you cant drive more than 50 miles or so from home. Sucks. Been in dealer and indie about 20 times for this over the years and it never gets resolved. I think it is bad ribbon heat sealed connectors in the wiring all over the place on these cars. That is why we have problems with ACC, ABS, TB's and the list goes on.
My 2004 9-5 has given me more trouble than my 6 previous Saabs collectively, including the 1994 900 SE I had the misfortune of owning.
